Ad Rates

Advertise on the BIG SCREEN with Pudget Sound's favorite historic theatre. Your ad with the Rose Theatre puts your business in front of locals and tourists alike, with audiences ranging from 4,000-7,000 people per month. Unlike print circulations, your ad repeats multiple times in front of a captive audience, whose line of vision is directed to your ad alone. During the summer season, your business has the capacity to reach over 20,000 sets of eyes.

• We offer advertising in the Rose and Rosebud Cinema (capacity of 208 per show)

• Advertising is available for all shows in the Rose and Rosebud, including both matinees and evenings

• Ad slides rotate for 30 minutes before each show, ending at showtime

• Each ad is rotated up to 3-6 times before the film starts

• Each ad runs for 10-seconds including fades

• Due to the popularity of the Rose, audiences arrive early to reserve their favorite seats giving your ad plenty of airtime.

Advertising Rates & Billing for static images

• Our rate is $1050 for three months (Requires a 3 month commitment).

• Billing can be set-up to be paid monthly or all up front.

• The first monthly payment is due upon submission of advertisement. 




Ad Spec Requirements for static images




• Specs: 1920 x 1080 pixels -  jpeg only

• One image repeated up to 4-6 times OR two images repeated up to 2-3 times

• Option to swap out images by the month 

• Image-focused - Let your images do most of the talking

• Stick to the facts - who, what, when, where

• Limit text (Please try not to be too wordy)

• “Mention this ad” advertisements have been successful in the past

• Hold text away from the edges using ample margins




Advertising Rates & Billing for videos




These rates are per month and the video clips will be shown daily on just the Rose screen. Clips will be shown one time before each screening, towards the end of the ad reel, before the previews. We currently have two screenings on the weekdays and at least three screenings Thursday - Sunday, so each video clip will get played 18 times a week, at a minimum. Every video must be approved first by the owners.




• Up to 15 second clip - $500

• 16-30 second clip - $1000

• 30-45 second clip - $1500

• 60 second clip - $2000





Ad Spec Requirements for Videos

• Needs to be an MP4 - standard video format

• Drop off a thumb drive OR send via WeTransfer





Fine print

• Advertising options are for the Rose and Rosebud only.

• Precedes all movies EXCEPT the Metropolitan Opera and National Theatre.

• Advertisements can start any time during the month.

• A customer preview is available at no extra charge, allowing for fonts/colors to be adjusted if necessary. 

• Political campaign and/or religious advertisements are not accepted.
