Two Seperate Theatres. Three Unique Screens.

RTI

The Rose Theatre

The original Rose Theatre was built in 1907 as a Vaudeville and live acts theatre, but quickly adapted itself to a cinema showing nickelodeon and "talkies" of the time. It closed in 1958, and was several iterations of junk shop and vacant space, before reopening in 1992 as The Rose Theatre you see today. The Rose seats 149 and displays historic 1929 Murals as well as a unique screen experience.

RB

Rosebud Cinema

The second auditorium in the Rose Theatre, the ROSEBUD CINEMA was added in 1998, and features intimate couch seating and tables. A jewelbox auditorium with excellent accoustics, the Rosebud seats 40.

Starlight

The Starlight Room

A single room theatre specializing in arthouse, foreign and classic cinema, The STARLIGHT ROOM is located on the 3rd floor of 237 Taylor St, one door down from the Rose Theatre. In the lobby, guests enjoy a wide array of snacks, candies, sodas, beer, wine, and speciality cocktails or mocktails to accompany bowls of organic popcorn, served with real butter and custom spice mixes.
Surrounded by floor to ceiling windows with a stunning view of downtown Port Townsend, Mount Baker and the Admiralty Inlet, guests can enjoy a quiet moment before the curtains are drawn, the chandeliers are dimmed, and the screen descends from the ceiling.  A truly one of a kind experience not to be missed.
